The 718 R-HD delivers all the popular features of the 718 M, trading in the rubber tired undercarriage for crawler tracks. The track mount opens a wider range of applications and business opportunities for tree care specialists, with increased soft soil mobility and greater stability on slopes or uneven terrain.
The new 728 M purpose-built tree-care handler combines the best of the original 718 M and 738 M machines.
The 728 mixes the best features of the 718 and 738 with its extended reach, lifting capacity, optimal mobility, and powerful engine.
Having a machine like the 728 that can reach farther than the 718, hold a significant amount of weight, and make the work site safer is a huge plus.
The new SENNEBOGEN 738 E, with a huge reach of 20 m, is the perfect device for removing problematic trees and for fuel timber harvesting.
In addition, the 6.5 m eye level elevating and tilting cab gives an ideal overview of the work area.
Weighing more than 95,000 lb. (43,500 kg), the new Sennebogen 738 M is twice the size of the 718 and extends its reach to 75 ft. (23 m) vs. the 43 ft. (13 m) range of the 718. Still, according to operator Rob Frost, the 738 handles like its smaller predecessor.
"The 738 gives you the same cycle times, the same fluidity; it's quick and smooth. You can move at the same pace as the 718, while you're moving much bigger wood," - Robert Frost, a third-generation tree and land clearer, who has become known as one of the world's most skilled SENNEBOGEN 718E material handlers.
